  4. the 1960s, and in 1967 was sentenced to 30 
  5. years' imprisonment in Bolivia, but was 
  6. released after three years. His writings on 
  7. Latin American politics include Strategy for
  8. Revolution 1970. He became a specialist
  9. adviser to President Mitterrand of France on
  10. Latin American affairs.
